Dr. Benjamin Collins received his Bachelors Degree in Chemistry, with Biomedical Emphasis, from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. Dr. Collins went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry.
As a Board Certified General Dentist, Dr. Collins enjoys all areas of dentistry. He stays current with the latest advances in dental treatments and has completed additional training in the areas of endodontics, dental implants, and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Collins is also a Certified Invisalign Provider. Additionally, after completing his implant fellowship, he is now a member of the ICOI (International Congress of Oral Implantologist).
He especially enjoys helping patients achieve optimal oral health with endodontic treatment, placement of dental implants, extractions, dental crowns, and porcelain veneers. He is also an active member of the North Carolina Dental Society.
Dr. Benjamin Collins is an associate dentist at Collins and Associates, where the emphasis is on “family.” He and his brother, Dr. Tyler Collins, purchased the practice in 2018.
In his free time, Dr. Collins enjoys spending time with his wife, Whitney, their daughter, Berkley, and, of course, their dog, Rambo. Dr. Collins’ hobbies include golfing, hunting, and fishing.

Dr. Tyler Collins was born and raised in Robeson County, and after graduating from Purnell Swett High School, he attended the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. In his junior year of college, Dr. Collins was accepted to the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2008.
After graduation, Dr. Collins returned to Pembroke to practice at Collins and Associates, which he and Dr. Benjamin purchased in 2018, and has been providing excellent dental care ever since. Dr. Collins has completed many hours of continuing education, learning cutting-edge techniques to improve the quality of dental care he provides to all of his patients.
As a Board Certified General Dentist, Dr. Collins is proud to be a Certified Invisalign Provider and active member of the American Dental Association, the North Carolina Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Collins and his wife, Katherine, a native of Edenton, NC, married in April of 2011 in the Outer Banks. In July of 2012, they were blessed with an amazing daughter, Heidi Elizabeth. Dr. Collins and his wife also have three dogs – Tyson, their loving golden doodle, and Marley and Charly, their loving Malteses.
In his time away from the practice, Dr. Collins enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, traveling, bass fishing, and anything related to UNC Tarheel athletics.

Dr. Starlet Oxendine received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke in 2002. She then attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry, where she graduated in 2006 with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) Degree.
After receiving her DDS degree, Dr. Oxendine returned back to the Robeson County area, where she has been providing exceptional dental treatment to her patients for over 12 years now.
Dr. Oxendine is a Board Certified General Dentist, a member of the American Dental Association, and a member of the North Carolina Dental Society. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry, including restorative, aesthetic, surgical and endodontics. Each year she spends countless hours in continuing education courses to further her knowledge in the forever changing art and science of dentistry, in an effort to continuously provide her patients with the best and most current dental options available.

In 2004, Dr. Oxendine married Reece Oxendine, and they have three amazing children, Maddison, Easton, and Kyndallon. In her spare time, she loves unwinding on the beach with her family, or traveling with them to her kids many sporting events.
